So how will the U.S. respond? If Trump retaliates full force he escalates this thing into a full fledged war. If he doesn’t he will consider that a weak response. If the goal was to “avoid war” and get Iran back to the negotiating table, is this the way?
Massive overwhelming response. Iran needs to understand if they shoot one ballistic missile that ten are coming back, and we hit what we are shooting at bigtime.
Electrical power grid needs taken out first. See how Iranians like not having air conditioning, elevators, gasoline or lights for a few months
Bush, Obama, and Trump all campaigned saying this. But...get out now!
The question in my mind, is this the prophecy fulfilled? Is this the end of time? Chinas alignment with Iran, Russia pushed away by our hatred for Putin, Iran and the entire IS States surround Israel? This is not a joke.
Time to get rid of Iran’s nuclear program. Bomb every installation remotely connected to their nuke program into piles of rubble and get it over with
If this escalates, will our allies support us? Or will we be viewed as the instigator? Is this worth our sons dying on the battlefield? Do we keep fighting this same battle over and over? Civilians are killed in these countries we bomb and invade. Is it so hard to understand why they hate us? There are bad men in power all over the world - why do we continue to go into the Middle East to get the latest #1 terrorist? Yes I understand he is suppose to be responsible for killing American soldiers on foreign soil, but didn't our government put those soldiers there?
We won’t engage in a ground war with Iran or invade the country of Iran . We can stand off from thousands of miles away and bomb them back into the Stone Age.
We don’t have any need for “Allies” the US military is twice as big as all of the other NATO countries combined .

The USA has a dozen Nimitz class carriers and two new Ford class Supercarriers. Dozens of B52, B1 and B2 bombers and countless strike aircraft at the Presidents disposal. More than the rest of the world combined.
We are the only Superpower left , if we want to blow Iran off of the face of the earth it’s a done deal that should be applauded. They are the largest state supporter of Terrorists and the Middle East will be much calmer when they are brought to their knees.
Too bad Clinton didn’t have the balls to take out Bin Lauden back when he had a chance cause 3500 Americans would be alive today

If this is the extent of Iran's response. Let it be, and leave. Iraquis have been killed in Iraq, Iran looks like the aggressor, but he doesn't have support at home, and our EU allies have bailed. So is letting Iran save face. This was a good trade for now. Our media and the Dems will never support doing what is necessary. God has a way of working things out no matter what. Praise and give thanks.

I agree if you go to war....Fudging go to war. Bomb all major population centers and all infrastructure, irregardless of civilian deaths and suffering that is how you win and that should be the goal. Get the whole darn thing over with. What we are doing now just leads to generational conflict than never ends. Win the Dang thing or stop. But we can't stop because Oil is the life blood of our economy and it must flow for us to prosper and thrive.
If you go full bore and decimate the population and break their will then you move in, take away their culture, belief system and instill your own. That would stop the threat long term.
You do realize that terrorist are zealots and their belief system is indoctrinated into them from a young age. They would be that way irregardless of our Policy and Actions.
The United States doesn’t even need them for oil. We are the number 1 supplier of oil in the world!

There is no winning here... we go in there with war and it will only get worse, we stay out and let them continue their proxy war it will only get worse. The issue becomes when do you want to finally want to take care of a crises you created decades ago.

I am not saying who is right and who is wrong, just saying this has been going on for a very long time. Oil yes also helps. I did study history in College and the middle east is very interesting.

They hit the sand. More guys died the previous past 3 mos. This appears to be a complete success, and we can use our own oil. This is not the end, but it never will.
Did they predict that Iran would contact Finland and have them relay a message to the US that the missiles were about to be launched and then miss the target?

While I won't claim any knowledge of Irans missile guidance system, they were very accurate shooting into Saudi oil machinery. Seems pretty obvious they were not trying to hit anyone.
