Some of those Georgia educators got seven years in prison and 13 years probation. The judge actually went beyond the prosecutors recommendation.

Seems fair to me.

Need to replace "educators" with "Criminals" and it will make more sense

I read that Ducky. Unbelievable. I guess those educators should have went into high finance, politics, or drug sales. They would have received probation instead.

Some of them did,, they were all offered plea deals to reduce sentences. The ones that got hammered refused to admit guilt.

These criminals weren't bumping grades a few points so pour disadvantaged kids could get into junior college they were doing it for cash

How can a judge justify that kind of reduction in sentence because a convicted person admits they did something wrong!!!? They apparently were proven guilty, why go so easy on them for admitting it? Does a drug dealer get that kind of break if say yeah I did sell drugs. If so this a messed up system! A plea deal with a lesser sentence usually comes with the perp giving them someone higher up the chain of crimes being committed. Those that made plea deals in this case have NO chance to appeal, those who didn't I'm sure will be back in court.

That's the way our entire judicial system works. I am all for turning Cuba into a penal colony and shipping all criminals to Castro

Wanting to go to Cuba huh?

already been there

Honestly I actually agree with Obama on that one. Cuba is no more of a threat to the USA than Canada is.

IF the USA had incresed military assistance to Batista instead of ending it in 1958, Castro would have never taken over and there would be a Holiday Inn on every beach and a McDonalds on every corner
