Blue Springs 46 - JC 23. Let Me Be The First...

Didn't Ted LePage WIN at Blair Oaks?

Oh yeah that's right he did! He was the guy who started it all out at Blair Oaks. If I remember correctly he won a state championship there after taking a doormat program and building them into the state powerhouse they are to this day.

Look at Coach Drehle, he's a good coach and went to Waynesville. He has had two straight 0-10 seasons and he is 4-27 in three years there. Maybe there has something to do with Blair Oaks having all the right ingredients in order to WIN and be a powerhouse program. Heck all their sports have good or great programs.

Let's not act like the current Blair Oaks coaching staff (which is a very good coaching staff) is the only reason that they WIN!

..to publicly call for the resignation of the entire coaching staff at JC. You have the largest student population in the state and a rich tradition to build off of and you can only produce 3 wins this season? and 6-5 last year?? and most of the staff have been there TWELVE YEARS??? There are no excuses for this mess. Step aside and let someone else lead. This is horrible.
You should get a education DEGREE, apply for the job, buy a whistle and tee it up buddy. Anything short of that, you're just mad about somebody's playing time. People on the outside have no idea what it takes to coach these day's, they can only see the score. The audacity of this post can be forgiven, because you don't know any better. Don't post in the heat of moment of a disappointing loss, we all get that.

No relative or friend plays for that team. and I'm not basing it on one loss but on the entire body of work.
True, I don't coach but then again I'm not PAID to coach. If my job performance produced the results we're seeing, I would not be employed very long. Why should it be any different for coaches?
Read my post broh, you should fork over your time and effort to coach them up. This ain't the bidness world, more than likely there is a multitude of success stories on Jeff City team. It's not like they lost to the misery school of the blind, pump your brakes and think about what is important. They just lost a big game, do you really need to add poison to the situation? If this is an audition for being an expert, then join the staff. Call friggin Kelly Danahoe, ask him he thinks the Jeff City is incompetent with what they have to work with. Please, you can e-mail him too.

Its hard to go 0-10 in back to back years at Waynesville. Some people would say that in order to pull that off you’d have to run half the team off and start close relatives at key positions.

It seems my original post hit a hot spot with some people. Well, the truth sometimes hurts.
I've remained silent on this subject for over 10 years and I'll remain silent no longer. A coaching change must be made before the fan base dwindles to nothing and to help stop students from migrating to other teams.
I played for this program a number of years ago. A previous coach was only given 4 years to turn it around before being fired. It pains me to see it all thrown away. I speak for many, many others who have expressed this to me privately.
I will NOT retract my call for the dismissal of this coaching staff.
If you disagree then we will just have to agree to disagree.
I disagree. There are more pertinent ways to make your unsolicited opinion known than cowardly post on the Mosports board. I'd like to interview your boss and get the big picture of your professional performance at your JAYOHBEE, Make sense? It does to me.

Reliving your glory days really? I agree with Bliz and it pains me that you're not willing to post your name and address. The fanbase is parents and students that attend Friday night games, the rest is whatever. Your post is a joke. You're probably some kid that got shown the door in week two.

If I remember correctly, the coach at Jefferson City took an obscene amount of money when he got that job. He wasn't given that kind of cash to have a mediocre program,,he took that money with the expectation of turning them back into s winner,

If it was the old days where he was a full time teacher and a part time coach then criticism would not be warranted, but he is a full time, highly paid coach and has not done the job he took the money to do

I have to agree. isnt he still an insurance agent or something. No teaching?

With Blair Oaks schedule you could let the janitorial staff run the football
team an they would be undefeated most years in the regular season.
