Blair Oaks vs Lutheran North...

Lutheran North, by at least 10. I will be very impressed if Blair Oaks keeps it closer than that. This will say a lot about Blair Oaks chances against Lamar in C2.

I am almost the exact opposite. I will be surprised if BO doesn't come away with a victory unless they self implode. They are definitely going to miss the RB, don't know when or if he will return, but I always believe coaching plays a big part in these games and I would give Coach LePage the advantage.

I have watched LN, they are not as good or as big as previous years. I think LN will make too many errors and BO will capitalize.

As a St Louis fan, it hurts to not think LN will win, but we will win state in most if not all classes so this loss won't hurt to much.

Blair Oaks greatest weakness right now is on defense. It is still a young team but they are getting better. They had to go to an all out offensive stance to beat Maryville last week with an incredible effort by Dylan Hair at QB. On defense the issue was holes and giving off a few big plays that kept Maryville in the game. I am glad that they struggled in that area in Week 1 and can work on that to be prepared for that in Week 2 against LN.

My best bet would be that we see another high scoring affair and being that this is at Wardsville you have the fan support which will be loud (Blair Oaks fans are loud no matter if at home or away). This will be a close game but I am thinking BO wins but in a close game.

This area has some darned good teams this year, too.

I appreciate you recognizing my brilliance, and C2 is a stretch for STL this year.
you are correct. STL has no chance in C2, all their C2 schools are moved up in class
Don't sleep on unranked bowling green, they beat an excellent Ritter team last year and have a bunch coming back
Hats off to Blair Oaks for the, "You name the time and place" scheduling. This is back-to-back weeks of big games against traditional powers, that's says something.
true. they would play IMG if offered. Lepage is no pussy

Blair Oaks should have the private school winning factor, solely based on the fact that they sound more private than Country Day School

Blair Oaks has scrimmaged with CBC during the summer for the last 2 years as well. 1 year ago it was in Wardsville, this year Blair Oaks went to CBC

Heck, I’m so out of the loop. I don’t have a clue. Just ribbing you a bit. 😉

Where will you be in attendance tonight?
I'm seriously considering driving out to FH to watch them play Jackson. I am also considering Vashon Ritter game, or St. Dom/Lift for life.

Tomorrow. i am torn, do i drive to East St louis for some high quality games, watch MICDS Chaminade (close to home) or watch some garbage college game.

I’m hoping tomorrow’s college games are interesting. If they’re not, it’ll be yard work for me as my property currently looks like the Ho Chi Minh trail. Enjoyed the Pitt/WVa game last night.

I doubt the MICDS game will be very good, really. I’ve seen Chaminade. They’re decent, but I doubt they can hang with MICDS. Watched LiftForLife at a jamboree. Looked a little rough, but Jambos can be deceiving.

Eastside has all the heavy hitters, but I agree FH/Jackson ought to be a fun one.

Whatever you decide on, I hope they involve safe travels and enjoyable experiences.
