No true. A lot of needy Ohioans have sent their hard earned money into Trump to fight that massive voter fraud he uncovered.

The Norfolk Southern RR company bette be the one taking care of those folks whatever they need for however long it takes, not our tax dollars.
There are agencies in place to help its citizens after disasters. Let the government recoup its loses. Biden had zero issue making poor people repay his covid relief check.
The RR has said they will take care of all of this and should. Ok for government agencies to jump in and help right away but they should get back any money spent on it and RR company should be on it from start to finish and that could be a LONG time. There just ain't no reason to run 10,000 foot trains and lay off a 3rd of their workforce.

This derailment was caused by a hotbox which burns the axle through and basically allows the wheel to fall off. The big problem here is the length of the train. Hard to see anything very far back on a train that is 2 miles long. I've heard the hotbox detector sent a signal to the engine that there was an overheated axle and either that didn't work or the crew didn't realize it then the next one sent it again and they did get slowed down some. The new breaking system would have had zero impact. The train was already slowing down and there have been zero reported issues with the breaks. The train was going 47 miles an hour which takes at least a mile to stop.

Apparently this train was a pretty high hazard, it sure made a mess of that town. I'm pretty sure they burned off the contents of more than 3 cars that had not already ruptured to keep the chance of an explosion down.
