I’m curious to see how they play Pittsburg … Purple Dragons are 0-fer the season. Is this the game a third scoring threat breaks out, or perhaps a third and fourth threat take over?
When a team can count on its No. 1 for 20+, it’s No. 2 should score 10 on five putbacks a night, the only question I see is who wants to the third/fourth scoring threat if opponents decide to shut down 1 and 2?
Waiting for someone to own that role.
At least they seeded it logically this year. I remember last year, Carthage was the 6 seed. They "upset" 3rd seeded Cassville before pulling off an actual upset against Carl Junction and then losing in the championship game.
This is true. I think last year they just looked at records without regard for strength of schedule. I don't know what happened to the Carthage girls since that big win last year. I thought they were on the upswing.
