Miller had a big night. What happened to Stockton? They used to field a good team every year.Houston over Sarcoxie
Me too. I've been burned picking neosho so many times thinking they should be better than they are.Neosho floored me
What? They had more kids than fans! Carthage travels better than that! IAlso nixa brought what was probably the largest visitor crowd I've seen aside from cj and webb. That was kind of a surprise.
They do have a good coach! But when you have 1700 students you should have a good pool of talent!Neosho goes from C5 back to C4.
Ozark goes from C5 up to C6.
Ozark goes to Neosho and gets stomped.
Anybody at the game? Is Ozark that bad? Neosho that good? Combo?
What scores surprised you tonight?
Didn't say it was a huge crowd just bigger than what they or most of the rest of the coc usually brings. I've always found it odd how these large schools brings such tiny crowds. Opening night last year I counted a whopping 65 ozark fans at game time. What? They had more kids than fans! Carthage travels better than that! I
Congrats to first year Tonka HC Benny Palmer! Hard to believe its been 15 years............geez I'm getting old.Northtown and Tonka won. It's a good night.
Lee's Summit North looks to be the real deal this year. This sport never gets more exciting than seeing new schools/teams attain success............Suprised with Grain Valley score over Savannah.
Suprised the Lee's Summit schools easily took both Liberty Schools to the woodshed, and LSW is still out there. So both Liberty Schools are the weakest link. That's gross.
Platte County lost a bunch, they are not good. Get them out of the rankings asap.
Do you really need to hang 50 on Truman, Ruskin and Trenton, really. Hate that...
NKC gets a nice win over Grandview. Tonka gets a win. It's over a horrible team but a win nonetheless.
Cameron won!
Raytown beating BSS.
Full moon? Just saying...............in all honesty you are always first class win or lose. Amazing how many shockers happen opening week every year. What makes this soooo much fun and America's #1 sport!Just FYI: In the MEC, Cameron has a better record than 6 other conference schools, including Chillicothe and Maryville.
Congrats Cameron on breaking your 28 game skid, and congrats to Marshall for breaking your 21 game skid.
DeSmet 37, Hazelwood Central 2Hickman over Pattonville 23-20...
Good to hear Slater is playing some ball. Lawson is due, good for them. Paul Thomas getting it going at Weston. Good stuff.I have a few
Buffalo beating Ava
Lawson beating Oak Grove
Slater rolling Santa Fe
West Platte beating Long Jack by over 40. Going to a long year for now class 2 LJ
Oak Park only NKCSD loser!Northtown and Tonka won. It's a good night.
Coach Dunn beating anyone would never "surprise" me. Lawson played a lot of young kids last year, should bode well for them. Next week will be a big test.I have a few

The BIG winner last night was the entire Lee's Summit school district! That all three won does not surprise me..............how and by the margins they did does, frankly.LSW looked really good against Park Hill. No surprise that they looked good. Just expected to see a good game. Park Hill had one good drive for a TD in three qtrs. 31-7 going into 4th. PH put a couple scores on the backups to make the score look better than it was.
Well, I'll keep my fingers crossed for em. That little town is fun place. I plan on catching a game there.I wouldn’t say getting it going. They will be better should win more then 2 games. They won’t be as bad as lately. All depends on the injury situation. Not a ton of depth at most positions.
Truth. I don’t know much about KC area football, but thought Liberty schools and PH would’ve played all three closer. I knew all three LS schools were supposed to be good, but still surprised by the spreads. It’s going to be fun watching on Friday nights here. The BIG winner last night was the entire Lee's Summit school district!
