Checking at No. 7 in the Missouri Pre-Season Top 20 football
recruiting list is Raytown strongside defensive end
Conrrad Nicholls a rising Rivals.com three-star prospect who impresses on
film and on the grid iron.
Nicholls recently earned top honors at the Midwest Elite
Combine. Following the event Jeremy Crabtree of Rivals.com wrote of the
Blue Jay senior, "Nicholls, who is an amazing-looking 6-5 and 227 pounds, won
the defensive line most valuable player award with a strong day that featured a
good effort in testing with an unofficial 4.8-second time in the 40-yard dash,
dazzling drill work and a one of the best one-on-one performances by any player
at any position at the combine. It's puzzling why he's not without his first
scholarship offer. His film is impressive, and he's already built for the
college game. Here's betting he won't be without an offer for too long."
He still awaits his first offer, but is receiving
interest from Brigham Young, Kansas State, Missouri, and Utah. "Missouri
has been recruiting me pretty hard along with Kansas State and BYU," said
Nicholls. "I've also sent my tapes out to most of the Big 12 schools and even as
far down as Alabama", Nicholls told Rivals.com Football Recruiting.
Nicholls earned top league honors a season ago and aspires to
higher marks this season as he serves as a leader for the Raytown football team
which finished 3-8 a season ago.
