Cardinals have always hit great pitchers very well. I remember them doing well against Randy Johnson. Throw us a left with a 75mph heater and the Cardinals are toast but show us a hall of famer with Cy Young stuff and we will light him up like a pinball machine.

Carpenter has given up his share of runs in the playoffs. Gave up five to the Mets in G2 in 5in. Gave up 4 in 3in against the Phillies in 2011.

As of now Waino has a better postseason ERA. Time will tell when he gets more starts.

After you tarnished the shred of credibility you had by saying yadi throws out 80% of basestealers, I had to look up this Carp/Waino thing. You are wrong again. Carp 3.00 ERA in post season with a 10-4 record. Waino is 4-3 with a 3.14. Never let facts get in the way of your statement of false info.

I will readily admit hearing that stat wrong. Maybe it was 80% higher than the next player? You do the math.

And not really sure how I "miss-saw" that ERA. Unless Waino's stats were not updated on this sight.
