Good win. The roller coaster ride continues. Sounds like Yadi and Wacha are getting closer. That will be the difference if they can come back healthy and contribute.

Just an awesome win. Thought they were going to pi$$ away another one, but another BIG hit by Jay bailed em out. Boy they had chances. I was ready to give OT an enema with his own bat after his AB in the 6th. Thought that one was really going to cost them the game. Then Rosie giving up the bomb to McCutcheon to start the 9th didn't do much to ease my nerves. That guy is taking years off my life.

Wacha is the big key. Getting him back would leave a rotation of Waino, Lackey, Wacha, Lynn, and Miller. I'll take my chances with that. AJ has made the loss of Yadi, especially with the bat, somewhat palpable. Sure would be nice to get them both back.

I hate the walks, so a solo bomb doesn't bother me so much. Dude has only given up 2 in 60 innings this year. Not to mention McCutcheon is pretty good himself, I'd say he guessed rigtht and squared it up.

I get what you're saying about the walks...just the overall body of work from Rosie, especially the last 6-8 weeks, just hasn't been pretty. When your closer has a WHIP near 1.5, you're living on borrowed time. He won't continue to get saves if that number doesn't get better. Either that, or I'm going to have a lot more salt than pepper under my hat!
