Big 8 predictions? who are the favorites

Well we are two weeks away from Kick off of 2023. So what are peoples thoughts on who are the favorites.

Lamar
Mac County
Monett
Nevada
Seneca

Have to think before we kick off Seneca and Lamar are going to be favorites in the West. Any surprises?

East
Aurora
Hollister
Log Rog
Marshfield
Mt Vernon
Reeds Spring

looking at the East I think Mt Vernon looks to be the favorite. Tommy returns alot from a really young team, Saw Aurora a few times they looked solid, could they be on the rise? Reeds have anything coming back?

Mac County will be in the running IMO. Seneca returns a lot of skill, should be fun!

MV and I guess RS. RS lost a lot. RS may compete mostly because of how bad the East is overall. RS QB and WR combo can keep them in it.

Mt Vernon lost 4 of their front 7 on D but you are right they were Soph dominate last year and should be very good.
Wolves have league offensive player of the year back at QB, All State receiver back. Some additional all conference guys and a number that contributed last year. They did lose a good senior class, no denying that. The RS-MTV game was a classic last year and is likely to be the same this year. Its week 9 in RS,

Watch out for a sneaky Mac County team in the West. Mt. Vernon should have a good year on the weak east side. They will be praying they go up in class to avoid a post season turbo clock from Lamar.

Mac is a hard team to predict. Last year they beat a very good Nevada team but get soundly beat by MV and Monett...

Monett is a dark horse in the west. Really like Mt. Vernon this year.
