didn't CJ win the matchup at the Jamboree? LOL.
The CJ D is the only chance they have to win this game. The offense may not be able to score enough.
Nevada's strength, running the ball is what CJ defends best! Could be interesting Friday!
Interesting. I get that CJs offense is not sexy. Their ball control offense requires discipline. It is difficult to overcome turnovers , penalties or negative yardage plays. I think Carthage and Webb defenses, while not shutdown, are pretty solid. CJ scored 28 on both. In fact, that was twice the points Nixa scored on WC and more than anyone else in the COC. Problem is, they gave up over 40 to both Carthage and WC. Can’t speak to the entire schedule. Just going by what I’ve seen, CJ defense was not stellar.
Defense wins championships. They don’t score, they don’t win.

CJ's defense will not have seen another offense like what Nevada runs. I think Nevada wins but it could be a very close battle.
I have a hard time reading this one. I want to pick Nevada, also wouldn’t be surprised if they win. But Carl is hot and very battle tested. I’ll be keeping an eye out on this one.
I agree, COC is looking tuff...but I think Nevada has been is some very tuff battles also this year. Lamar Seneca MV, throw in Mac who just beat West Plains.
Hard to go against Mac County after Last week, also hard to go against Lasalle as well.
That game and the CJ/Nevada game have so many question marks to me.
If Macs line is as good as they played against WP(granted WP line is abnormally small and inexperienced this year) then Bolivar is going to have issues on Friday.
