Big 8 Conference................

Is it this season that the Big 8 combines with all the other school ?
What will it be called?

They're keeping it the Big 8 Conference for some odd reason... becoming like the 10-team Big 12.

Yep this is the first year. They kept the Big 8 name they say because of the history and Tradition that name brings. Which to this 50 year old seems weird. Because I remember like it was yesterday when the conference was the Big 12,13,14 and then the Big 8 I still remember the Big 6 that went on to become the SWC.
I guess that is what happens when we have people making decisions that have no connection or know the history of the conference.
