Probably a little frustrated that up by 6scores with the turbo clock running. RS got the ball with less then 2mins left in the half started passing the ball and used it’s last two timeouts to run the score up 52-0

JR you might be onto something, but Turbo was not running "yet" it was still the first half, but they would have had it to start the second half. I will just let that big pile of steaming crap the wolves left on the field sit, but in the Big 8 things have a way of evening themselves out.

Yeah Cassville won 4 in a row, they had a really nice run there at the end of Large's coaching career.

You don't think he is coming out of the AD role to coach again? He said it was for the family, both girls are almost in College.

Cassville was 3rd place in the Big 8, 2nd place in their district, and 1st place in state in 2008. That was the 1st year of the 4 team districts that sent the champion and runner-up to the playoffs. That system lasted 4 years and was replaced by our current 8 team district system.

The 08 Cassville team had a ton of Sophmores on it that just kept getting better. Lost to Branson to start the season.......then to CJ and Monett. They really started to come together about the first Monett loss which was the district game. I don't think they lost a conference game after that Monett loss until 2013. I might be mistaken, but that was a hell of a run.

I bet Bullit hated that new system!!! Just think about how aggressive he would have been after a loss with an undefeated season if he is this way with the Cubs winning 3.

It was a sad time, but it was what it was. We got even a few years later when Monett was 7-3 and we got on a roll and sent an undefeated Cassville team home in the district championship game on their home field, and Large's last game he would coach.

He may, but once you enter the soft life and easy money of an administrator going back to coaching might be really hard.
