This is the 5th straight year two teams from the Big 8 have reached the state semifinal. For those of you more versed in Missouri prep football history, what other conferences have accomplished or beat this feat.

2013: Lamar-Seneca

2015: Lamar-Aurora

And before anyone says that Lamar's presence in the semis all those years means the conference is top-heavy, keep in mind that Lamar didn't win their first conference title until last year!

Without a doubt the best small school conference in MO the last decade.
