The Ozarks has its first super conference.

Reeds Spring’s school board approved a move from the soon-to-be-defunct Central Ozark Conference Small to the BIG 8 Wednesday. The Wolves join Catholic, Hollister, Logan-Rogersville, and Marshfield as former COC-Small teams to make the jump. Nevada will also join the league.

That was my thought when I read this article last week. The only thing I could come up with is the COC was really 2 conferences under one name with little or no cross over. All 14 teams in the Big 8 will play each other in some kind of rotation.

Yeah, the Large and Small COC were the same league in Name Only. Two completely different leagues. Now, before the addition of Webb, Carthage etc... The COC was one league in everything except Football.... they were already split for football but played cross-over games.
