Obv a lot of points folks could talk about, how are they going to pay for all that, gun issues, etc. One thing that stood out to me is, my assumption is most if not all of them in the room have been vaccinated, and possibly tested that day. Why did they need to be all spread out and wearing masks? Surely that is a subliminal message of some type.

My wife and I had the same conversation.
Call me old fashioned but he didn’t end his speech with “God bless America.”

"It’s never been a good bet to bet against America. And it still isn’t. We are the United States of America. There is nothing – nothing – beyond our capacity – nothing we can’t do – if we do it together.

May God bless you all. May God protect our troops."

Did you need the exact phrase, or are you just hoping for something that might slightly indicate that he's a godless heathen?

No I was in error and misread an article after even hearing his exact words. Unlike you I am able to admit I am more often wrong Than right.

You're right about that. If you could just point out the instances of my being factually inaccurate (rather than just rhetorically the opposite of you), I will also make that admission. I will admit that I may be insufferably pompous, but I am not inaccurate.

You forgot to mention humble. But other than that I think everyone will interpret your own words spot on correctly.

Yep. When Biden gives his speech everyone has to wear a mask and social distance. I don't think that happened when the Biden's visited the Carters. As close as you can get.

Almost like a double standard huh? Using the mask logic, wouldn't it be more important to wear them around the Carter's, who are in their upper 90's vs. VP and Speaker who are 70 and mid 50's?
