Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified Wednesday that a "Disinformation Governance Board" had recently been created, days after Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased Twitter, to combat online disinformation and will be led by Undersecretary for Policy Rob Silvers co-chair with principal deputy general counsel Jennifer Gaskill.

So the federal government will now decide if what I believe and talk about and post online is true or not, and stop me from airing my views.

I didn't know any book was being banned? Banning a book would be making it 100% restricted and unobtainable by everyone and by any means. Don't think that is happening at all. I'm pretty sure there are public libraries, Amazon, Barnes and Noble etc. where anything not provided in School Libraries is obtainable if one's desire is to read it.

Restricting access to certain books for minor's from a public school is not banning by any stretch. The system restrict a lot of books and materials from minors in public education that is not banning books. At all.

See the difference is that the right wants to ban foul language and overtly sexual content from minor children in public education.

The Left wants to ban Opinions, Ideas, information, Freedom of thought that does not align with their dogma for private adult citizens and end around the 1A...

And for the Record I don't think that Books that have LGBQ+ characters or themed books should be banned from Public schools after Students reach a certain age. But Elementary school should be free of all sexual themes and agenda's.
