Pat pulled off one of the biggest coaching moves ever in I believe the 07 victory. He had ran his QB, (Joe Kaufman I believe) one time all season for like 8 yards... He ran that kid on qb keepers something like 8 plays on the opening drive and went down and scored.
Thayer was so keyed on stopping Taylor Eubank (as they should have been) that they didnt even pay attention to the QB.
He and his younger brother Leslee were absolute class 1 studs. I watched them run for something like 440 yards against a pretty decent West Platte team that same year.
