Mexico @ Hannibal as well as West Plains @ Webb City in my mind are top in what would be the top 5 games in the state this week, probably even top 3

I wouldn't say one of the best, (intriguing maybe?) but Class 1 District 7, West Platte and North Platte, each with 3 and 6 records will be vying for a District Title.

That will be a very good game. West Platte beat North Platte earlier this season by 20+. West Platte though is a decent 3-6. Played tough teams most of the year. I see them winning again.

Thanks. I needed some informed commentary. I don't know anything about them other than having the ability to look at their schedule and seeing the fact that they have that previous win you mentioned (48 to 14). I took West Platte in my "Survivor Pickem". Cheer 'em on an don't let me down! Good Luck to you and your Blue Jays!!

(A little side note: it was North Platte's OT win against 8-1 Well Nap that kept me from winning the pickem last week. Maybe I am playing with fire?)

That didn't work out too good for them against Skyline! I would think they would have learned a valuable lesson in not overlooking any team.

What makes you think that? Maryville beat Chillicothe 54-9 and Richmond beat Chillicothe 38-37 in overtime on a missed extra point...

Richmond is playing good football right now. Have a decent D line. Could be good. But I dont think Maryville by any means will look passed this game. Im just at saying there's a chance.

I think Richmond will be big factor next year. Returning 8 starters both sides of the ball, plus their best OLineman back (broke his femur week 1).. So really, 9 starters back on both sides.

That said, I think Richmond is much better than their record shows. Lost to O'Hara week 1 20-14, beat a decent Lawson week 2, lost to Excelsior Springs badly (head scratcher), lost to Harrisonville 40-12? But we're leading most of the first half and were down 21-12 at the half. Harrisonville just wore them down in the second (benefits of playing 1 side of the ball early), then lost to a very good Higginsville team but had 5 starters out..

I don't think Maryville is as good as they have been, but they are obviously still pretty darn good.

I think I agree, could be closer than most expect.

If Drexel doesn't turn the ball over, they may win by a couple of touchdowns. Their offensive line changes have made them tough to stop
