Why not just join forces? If those two are the best the Dems have to offer, why not just come together and that be the ticket?

Unify the party and have the best shot of beating Trump.

Because neither of them has any interest in picking the other one? If you're Bernie and you want a more moderate face, why are you going to pick Joe instead of Amy, Corey, Kamala, or whoever else you want? If you're Joe, why not pick Sherrod Brown or someone like that?

But they have to have someone younger on the ticket. It would be irresponsible to have 2 people on the ticket who would have a higher chance of not being around in 2024.

My argument is their ages ARE disqualifying. Biden, Trump, Bernie, Bloomberg are all too old. We shouldn't be electing people whose age begins with a 7 to be President.

Yes, she was old, too, although I perceive a difference between being 70 and being 75 ish. There's a real difference in age 74 and 79.
