Should be a barn burner. If Mizzou can pull it out against a former BCS BOWL participant will this convince the naysayers they are legit???? UCONN WAS IN A BCS BOWL YOU GUYS!

Elsewhere in the SEC:

Auburn at LSU- Yikes. Death Valley. Auburn better figure out how to QB fast.
SC at UGA- Time for Richt to blow a game they should win?
TT at Arky- If arky handles TT again will MAC>BigBevo?
Ole Miss at Bama- Woah Nelly!
UF at UK- Kentucky looked really good.
Nevada at A&M- Nevada held a halftime lead on AZ.
West Carolina at Rocky Top- Butch Jones got outcoached by big game bob. He's fired.
NW State and Miss State- Yuck
Austin Peay at Vandy- Was vandy vs UGA a trend? They looked decent.

Given the intellect of some on this venue if one SEC team beats another it shows how over rated the SEC is.......

Or its the prototypical SEC fanboy response. "They beat up on each other". When you have a record number of teams in the top ten/5(visit last year) and this year in the top 25 you're going to get the crazy eye from the outside. Then when your conference coaches say they don't "have to play a tough OOC schedule because our conference is best", then put on the stellar performance they did this weekend. Well you figure it out.

No hate but the SEC did not have a good weekend. Mizzou and the Hogs didnt play well at all and Kentucky beating SC is not really good for the league !

Hey...Knock it off...Let us Cat fans enjoy just a bit of pleasure in the Fall that doesn't relate to a late basketball recruit signing.

That can't be an excuse. Because, to quote Veer from a thread about another team, "Never hurts having more than one good QB. Recruit better."

Surely you don't quote Veer, lol. He said week 1 A&M would get housed and SC would get housed by NC. He's not very reliable but he can make fun of other conferences real well and can do a quick read of an MU weekly and act like a GOD of MU information.

Surely this is sarcasm (two days removed from Mizzou barely holding on against FCS Arkansas State...)

It's things like Arkansas losing to Toledo and Mizzou and Auburn BOTH squeaking past FCS opponents that makes the SEC look overrated this year...

Oh, they're a BOWL participant! (No wonder Mizzou struggled against them!)

<\sarcasm>
Come on Miyagi!!

UCONN went to a BCS BOWL!! that's the mark of a superior program. I know I read that on MoSports before.
Game of the century since a BCS bowl validates a program.

Mizzou lost against a worse Indiana team at home and I think last year turned out alright. Same for Ohio state and VT. Judge teams early at your own risk.

So BCS bowl means something or not? I know that Northern Illinois is a powerhouse and all but does it really make a difference?

I think you're silly because you're referring to a game that was played what? 4-5 years ago? BCS had it's flaws no doubt. They left teams out that should have been in and let some that should have been. But in the grand scheme of things it seemed to work more times than not. The new system is much better.

Anyways, I am not sure what you're trying to accomplish here. Trying to talk up UConn in the case of a loss? Or just pulling strings?
