The people that are cool with Hosmer bat flipping a walk-off sac fly (which I'm fine with), were the same people saying Jose Bautista's flip was disrespectful/embarrassing/a joke. And his was a 430 foot go ahead moonshot in the deciding game..

I'm ok with both. You shouldn't get to pick and choose. Some of these Royals fans are making it awfully hard to root for the Royals.

What happens when you get new money...Some folks don't know how to deal with it.

If you want to bat flip I'm all for it. But don't cry when you take a 97 mph gasser in the ribs next AB either.

I giggle like a school girl every time I watch that. I remember just screaming at him to run. And how funny everyone thought it was because it was literally a wall scraper. I miss the personality of the game. Everybody gets all bent out of shape. Sheesh. But I also miss guys being able to plunk a dude for doing that too.

I'm in the school of thought that its' OK to flip the bat on a game winning HR, not so much on a sac fly. If the you flip the bat and the ball doesn't leave the yard there will be plenty of embarrassment to go around. Either way you should EXPECT to get drilled for doing it at some point.

I think the Royals and their fans need to realize that they haven't won anything yet. I agree with the statement that their fans make it hard to like them. I could easily see the Mets winning the next 3 and the Royals going back to KC with their backs against the wall and well on their way to being the Buffalo Bills of MLB.
