While this game does not have a lot of the implications that it has in the past it's still Monett Versus Cassville. Monett coach Uhl went down to Cassville to coach just one year, just long enough to steal two off the staff of Parnell when he became the head coach off Monett. So this just makes this rival all that bitter.
Cassville comes into the game with 2 loses and both of those loses were to unbeaten MtGrove and Lamar. So I don't expect the wildcats to roll over.
Monett cannot afford a let down in this game as they try to keep pace with Lamar and CJ who sit on top of the conference with unbeaten records. And they have to travel to the Dawgs next week who Cassville beat. So this game will tell us how far this young team has come this year.
