Ritter leads at the half 36-33 in what has been an electrifying game so far. Brandon Jackson has 18 for Ritter as Harry Ballard from North has put on a scoring surge with 23 points in the first half.

In the Gold division @ Borgia------The Borgia Knights defeated North Tech 73-68 in another close one. The Knights are now 3-0 and looks like the Kings of Franklin County for 2015-16. The Borgia Knights not only won the gold division championship but placed 3 players on the all gold tournament all star team. ( Walton Eckelkamp 6'3" Sr., Luke Deline 6'3" Sr. and Alex Movila 6'7" Jr. )
Both the Gold and Blue championships games were very well played with talent on the floor. Lots of big time dunks and the defenses were very good. I did not see any state champions on the floor @ Borgia but I believe there were a few district and maybe beyond winners.
It is my understanding Vashon was the talk of the Riverbend classic down in New Madrid, Missouri with two solid performances against Charleston and New Madrid County Central. I would have drove down to New Madrid if a Sikeston-Vashon game was scheduled. Sikeston and Vashon appear to be in the conversation for shot @ a final four birth in class 4 in March. Vashon will be well tested for a state championship run while Sikeston plays a lesser schedule that could have a play when Sikeston is tested.
The St. Louis Post is reporting Peoria Manual, IL. defeated one of our top St. Louis area teams, CBC 70-59 tonight.
