I know a few people who have made bank.... I mean upper 6 figures to Millions on Crypto..... they are out now got out last year. I was to cautious in that regard to dive in. Mostly because I didn't really understand the whole concept of mining for bitcon, how a virtual project token is worth billions etc. It seemed a bit sketch to me as well.

But as far as making money clearly people have and probably will as long as people think it's possible to circumvent the govt system of control of currency. People seem to believe Block Chain token are a sound investment. But I won't be diving into those either.

And yes investing in crypto should be legal.... clearly the Dem's thought so as well or they just liked them some grifter system to pad their flush bank accounts. Either way if people want to put their money into these things let them. Why do you always want to take away Freedom of choice from the citizenship?

I saw a guy on TV this morning that says what I've been saying. Crypto is a worthless coin that somebody invented and got some suckers to jump in and they suckered others so they made some money and wiped out other people's money. He said this is and always was a ponzi scheme and it will be 10 times bigger than Bernie Madoff. I hope more of them go to prison.
I can put $5 in the machine at the car wash and get 6 tokens or $10 and get 13 tokens to use at that car wash. At least I do get something extra for using my money there and I know I will go back so it's a pretty good deal. Those tokens are worth more than bitcoin any day.

That is why I didn't delve into this.... I'm not up to speed enough to beat the Big Players and Money Shakers to think I can get lucky long term.

What I think is funny about this is some really big time investors bought into the scheme.... their paid spokesmen on TV let it slip that Iger.. the Former head of Disney and the Current Head of Disney was heavily invested in FTX.

Back in 2017 a former senior financial analyst of 18yrs outed Disney for some funny book management not reporting near 2 billion of fake revenue to it's investors and whistleblowing and going to the SEC. Claiming revenue for fake rounds of golf and other Free promotions, giving out free or reduced price gift cards and claiming full price or recording that gift card twice, leading to Disney revenue being over stated by as much as 6 billion.

Strangely she got a payment from Disney and she withdrew her SEC complaint and they just walked away after they seemingly where taking the corruptions in a serious manner HMMM.

The Current CFO and Bob Iger it appears where using FTX/Crypto to try and cover up some of these alleged losses or largely overstated revenue. In a strange move Iger was brought back and the CFO was named heir a parent and the 1 year CEO was sent backing with a Silent 23 million dollar pay out the Day before he was ousted and the CFO would have to give him the financial Information and the situation.... FTX collapse happened a few days before that.

So many Big wigs are in on the FTX situation that Strangely the Judge in a Unprecedented move Sealed/Redacted the NAMES of the investors/Creditors in FTX per FTX wishes. I get not publishing the addresses and such. But the Names is a bit suspicious and raises some major Red Flags. Disclosure is a basic tenement of bankruptcy law according to the DOJ representative.
