It's one thing to cut checks to people, expand unemployment and to make efforts for small businesses. It's another to cut them to publicly traded companies. GM survived fine through a pre-packaged bankruptcy. We shouldn't be paying off Boeing's shareholders, American Airlines shareholders, etc. without a damn good reason. You can save the jobs and businesses without needing to send billions and billions and billions to stock owners. Flood Main Street with cash, not Royal Caribbean or KFC.

I agree, checks should go to small business, and to pay for employee salary's or average hourly wage who have been unemployed do to the virus. The Gov. shouldn't cut checks to any Corporation or Bank. Companies and Business should provide information to the gov. of the last 6 months etc. of their employee's wages and then the checks/direct deposit should be sent.

I lean conservative but I don't Trust the Gov.,Corporations or any Politician...

If it's a loan to small businesses, the best way to assure they pay the loan back is through banks.
