Glad they are reopening. We will learn a lot in the next month on what happens in the auto plants.
I think it might turn into some generational conflict if there are still older workers.
There are a lot of young folks who don’t do the social distancing thing at all. I was at Rural King yesterday and there were a lot of old folks shopping or working and keeping their distance all over the store.
Some of the younger workers in the loading dock area were talking and doing some work about 6 inches from each other when they didn’t have to be that close.
Then I saw one of my former players, a recent graduate, and we had a conversation and he kept getting closer and closer to me as I tried to moonwalk into a safe distance. It was almost comical.
I'm anxious to see how the auto industry handles if/when a worker test positive. Will it spread? We will be able to see if the summer lull is going to happen or not. The entertainment/recreation industries will be able to see how covid reacts with large crowds on a daily basis. Restaurants, casinos, ballparks, concerts - all are hurting, and people are willing to skip spending money until they feel safe at these places.
If we see flare ups in the auto factories, people are going to stay on covid alert.
Another problem for the economy is with people preparing for a possible return of covid next fall, people aren't spending money.
Doesn't surprise me.
Damn, but looks like the standard procedure will be disinfect as soon as possible, identify anyone in close contact, and return to work.
I thought I would never say this, but come on summer heat!!
Didn't help Brazil with the virusDamn, but looks like the standard procedure will be disinfect as soon as possible, identify anyone in close contact to self quarantine for 2 weeks, and return to work after disinfecting anywhere they came in contact.
