Glad they are reopening. We will learn a lot in the next month on what happens in the auto plants.

I think it might turn into some generational conflict if there are still older workers.

There are a lot of young folks who don’t do the social distancing thing at all. I was at Rural King yesterday and there were a lot of old folks shopping or working and keeping their distance all over the store.

Some of the younger workers in the loading dock area were talking and doing some work about 6 inches from each other when they didn’t have to be that close.

Then I saw one of my former players, a recent graduate, and we had a conversation and he kept getting closer and closer to me as I tried to moonwalk into a safe distance. It was almost comical.

Well St. Francois County hasnt had a confirmed case since May 7th, so you're probably fine.

I'm anxious to see how the auto industry handles if/when a worker test positive. Will it spread? We will be able to see if the summer lull is going to happen or not. The entertainment/recreation industries will be able to see how covid reacts with large crowds on a daily basis. Restaurants, casinos, ballparks, concerts - all are hurting, and people are willing to skip spending money until they feel safe at these places.
If we see flare ups in the auto factories, people are going to stay on covid alert.

Im hoping there will be a summer lull and everyone will be smart enough to prepare for the fall. NY, Texas and California are welcoming back pro sports without spectators. We will see if that will satisfy their thirst.

Another problem for the economy is with people preparing for a possible return of covid next fall, people aren't spending money.

It’s tough to know what to do when we can’t even count on the data at all. Florida deaths from pneumonia are up significantly. Gee I wonder what that means???????

And then there is this......

Doesn't surprise me.

Bad news. Ford re-closed down 2 plants.

Ford told AP all three workers contracted the virus outside the workplace.

Production workers returned to their jobs Monday after a two-month layoff due to the pandemic.

Workers at the Dearborn plant assemble the F-150 and Raptor pickup trucks.

Production was expected to resume Wednesday night after a deep cleaning, and anyone who came in contact with the employee was told to self-quarantine for 14 days, Ford told AP.

Damn, but looks like the standard procedure will be disinfect as soon as possible, identify anyone in close contact to self quarantine for 2 weeks, and return to work after disinfecting anywhere they came in contact.

I thought I would never say this, but come on summer heat!!

will that work in schools? Everyone who rides on bus 32 and anyone in Mrs Smith’s class will be quarantined two weeks because sally Mae got the Rona? And the bus driver. And Mrs Smith. And the lunch lady?
