Correct. Cassville scored with 3 mins left down 20-13. Went for 2 for the win. Cassville intercepted a pas with a little over min to finish the game.

Have to applaud the Aurora squad. They were down by 13 points but didn't quit. They put up 20 unanswered points before Cassville could mount a game-winning drive in the 4th Quarter. It was a typical Big 8 Conference battle and in Week 1 to boot! Both teams played hard and clean. Very impressed with both. Aurora has a big line on both sides of the ball but (in my opinion) their gold is in their QB. He brings a strong pass threat to the game. He's a real talent and is only a Junior. Look for Aurora to grab some upset wins this season and be really tough by districts.

Mt Vernon QB looked solid last night. Sounds like it will be a fun Air Show Matchup when Aurora and MV play each other.

Going for the 2 point conversion with the score tied at 13-13 proved very costly for Aurora.

Pace had a great game throwing the ball, and the Aurora wide receivers ran great routes and made clutch catches. This team could be dangerous in district play.
