As coaches what do you do to players that

Condition, condition condition. Depending on the level of incident, sit for at least a quarter to a game.

My parents taught me not to act that way, ever. My coach would not have had to do to anything to me, my parents would have killed me.

All depends on what instigated it really. If they are getting harassed by the oppositions fans prolly wind sprints and half a game. If they are just a bad apple and they were not retaliating to rude fans. Punishment goes way up.

Ronnie Cookson would have taken him to the dressing room and busted his a$$. End of problem. He used to give swats for technical fouls, so would have really laid the wood on this kid.
Really none of his players would have had the nerve to do it in the first place.
Oh for the good ol' days. Bleeding hearts need not reply.

And burned a dart while doing so. SEMissourian had an article about him some 10 years ago. Maybe more. It was awesome.

going after OU is the only reason he is asking. Was it wrong? YES!!!! Will the matter be taken care of?.. YES... Does he have any problem with a coach going up to a kid after the game and telling him to "Learn some Class".?. totally wrong. Coach needs to worry about his own guys and crowd before he starts going after others... "by the way, it was not the same guy that flipped off the crowd"

I've read the article in the KC Star... There were two players involved one of which is a team captain. There is no justification for their actions after the game. No doubt both of them will be on the field come game time this week.

That crowd was wild and crazy there's no telling how much crap those players took . No excuse but I would love to rub it in!!

Like every other university in the country

Two mentioned as involved but only one flipped off the fans.

Flip off the crowd, you sit a game. Pretty simple. Everyone knows that is not acceptable. Any other answer means you shouldn't ever make parenting or coaching decisions.

Start naming off all of the universities that would suspend players for this. I've got plenty of time.....and I'm guessing you've got enough fingers

This is a perfect topic for you. Arguing over obscene gesture punishment. Bahaha.
What next, discussing the classiness of misrepresenting yourself as a Missouri HOFer? Sweet.

Right as usual Homey. No excuse for that.

Stop by Duck, I'll give you a a tour sometime. Then you can finally feel as though you've accomplished something with your life.

If you read the whole thread, I also said it was wrong and that they are taking care of the problem.
