Rolla
Rolla defeats JC. Solid bounce back for the Lady Dogs.

Great matchup in Boonville tonight with SoBoCo playing Blair Oaks. Also will be interested to see how the Boonville/Hallsville game goes. First tough matchup for the defending state champs.

Saint James taking on a highly touted Helias squad is probably the marquee matchup in the Fatima tournament.

Should be a fun night of games

These games were interesting. SoBoCo handled Blair Oaks easily, and that was a surprise. Lots of talent in the gym, on both sides.

Boonville fell to Hallsville also. This game was close to start and then Hallsville pulled away. I was surprised on the final score of this one as well. I thought it would be a closer contest.

I have no idea how St James was a 4th seed at the Fatima Classic. (Maybe Fatima wanted the easier other to the finals. ) St James pulled away early but Helias stayed close and had a big 3rd quarter to take the lead. Their Sophmore forward went on a 8-0 run and opened that game up. But St James answered back! Classic match of quality players. Both of these programs rely on talented underclassman! They will both be good for a while. Both programs have players that play on high level summer teams.

Hallsvilles transfer is a nice addition to a good team already.

The seeding was discussed in another post but the short version was Saint James graduated a lot and the tournament was seeded early. that makes early season tournaments hard to seed. I believe the coaches vote for seeding.
