Oldest tournament in the state of Missouri! I have not attended for about 5 years but thought about checking it out again. I know South Iron probably won't be challenged but it's hard to beat Thanksgiving week HS basketball. Any insight on the tournament? I hope to make it Wednesday night. Can anyone compete with South Iron?

Arcadia Valley Tournament is in its 95th year.

Monroe City Tournament is in its 97th year.

Arcadia Valley is not the oldest.

Hoops is correct. In the early days Monroe City was a 16 team tournament, boys and girls, and teams from away were hosted by local families.

No one can compete with South Iron in this tournament. Should be running clocks for them throughout.
