Let's see what others think:

GOLD DIVISION

1) Lee's Summit West
2) Blue Springs
3) Park Hill (even though I have them ranked #1 preseason go figure)
4) Lee's Summit North
5) Blue Springs South
6) Lee's Summit
7) Raymore-Peculiar

RED DIVISION

1) Liberty North (my early favorite in Class 5)
2) Park Hill South
3) St. Joseph Central
4) Liberty
5) Truman
6) Raytown

WHITE DIVISION

1) Staley
2) Fort Osage
3) William Chrisman
4) NKC
5) Oak Park
6) Ruskin

BLUE DIVISION

1) Kearney
2) Belton
3) Platte County
4) Grandview
5) Raytown South
6) Winnetonka

As advertised the GOLD will be very loaded and probably the most exciting to follow of these four by far. Liberty North will easily win the RED. Fort O and Staley will renew their big rivalry for the WHITE while Kearney will again dominate the BLUE (don't be fooled by the returning starter numbers just a little hint).

We're going to find out a lot about LSW early. They open at BSS and then play at BS. I still like BS above LSW.

From early reports BSS will not suffer a large drop off from last year. Yes large senior class graduated but they need to be moved up on your list. Had a chance to watch intersquad at Liberty North Saturday and they are a salty bunch this year. Early reports of O and D line being the strength are on target. Cannot see anyone in the Red Division coming within 2/3 scores of them this year.

I read somewhere that 2 KC schools in C6 could play for the championship. That would be cool.

I'm surprised that MSHSAA would let that happen...
I am too. But both BS and BSS move over to the Stl side of the brackets for districts this year. I am hoping BS does well in conference so we don't have to travel too much in districts. :)
