However a poster on the Mizzou site said today he is eyeing a transfer to IMG for his senior season. Any rumblings @HBL Pirates fan_1990 ?

@Cards1968 nah, haven't heard nothing like that, i know before his sophomore their was rumors that he was going transfer his sophomore year but he still in Hannibal. Aneyas is not that kind of person that would that. You should of seen him on the sideline friday night, he was fired up.

I bet. Also heard his girlfriend is a frosh at Mizzou. 1) I would think that could bode well for him staying close to home if true. 2) 3 classes up? That's quite a pull if true. Good for him.

Going to IMG wouldn't do anything for him except be around top athletes during practice. He already has all of the offers he wants. I think it would mean more to him to win a title at Hannibal than go play at IMG.

I think piratesfan said that when the injury occurred that he would be out a minimum of 6 weeks.
I think that was a month ago, so who knows.

the latest i heard was from this past friday night. the Doctor told him 4 to 6 weeks when he had the surgery, but the doctor ain't going to release him to play rest of the year

when he talked about MIZOU being in his top ten, it seemed like more of a courtesy because it was the home school than him being excited about them. Perhaps its a smokescreen, perhaps I was just reading into it... who knows?
