I have said it all along it will be the idiots that will ruin it, like the guy who walked into the Springfield walmart or others who do it and shout it is my right to carry an AK47 into the local dairy Queen. Those are the ones that will ruin it...Just because you can doesn't mean you should, so people will want laws put in place to be able to punish or stop that sort of behavior.
About 4 months ago we had stopped in to eat at a restaurant. In the parking lot was an old truck that had the confederate flag hanging high and then the america flag in the back lower along with another flag don't tread on me. Later when we came out there was an older man giving some young boys a tong lashing and he had the confederate flag in his hand, and he had put old Glory in its place. He told those boys as he threw the confederate flag down, I don't give a crap that you want to run around town looking like idiots with the confederate flag on your truck, but by G## you will respect the American flag and always fly it higher than the others, and as he walked off he looked back and yelled and that is a lesson from an old Gulf war vet!!
