The kids parents and the so-called safety instructor were just plain WRONG to allow this! Too bad the instructor had to lose his life over a poor decision. This kid now has to live with this for the rest of her life.
A nine year old is not physically strong enough to handle this type of gun. They should be taught with a BB gun first, then perhaps a .22, which has no recoil. Pretty ridiculous and sad.
