Amber alert

Jake, Mr. Wizard. CJ obviously have nothing to hang there heads about. They played hard, had a great season. And earned the respect of at least this WC fan.

Really great defensive battle in the first half, which I felt CJ could do and figured Webb would do.

Disappointing we could never punch it in for 6. As one of the Webbies said in an earlier post, Webb will wear out CJ's defense in the second half and boy did he nail it.

The "machine" is back. 0 turnovers. Would expect a win next week vs Harrisonville. And frankly, they should be able to roll in to Springfield where there will be plenty of seating for that formidable combined Lamar/Webb crowd.

Speaking of which, I believe I asked in a post about four or five weeks ago if anyone knew what times and days the Tigers and Cardinals would play in Springfield. They aren't quite there yet but....

Congrats to both of our old foes for advancing on to the quarters.

They have came a long ways last few years. Thing that's great is CJ fans didn't go nuts acting stupid when they beat us, and same for Webbs fans tonight.

Looks like a good, fun, and friendly rivalry shaping up with lots of mutual respect. Loved the joint performance by the band's tonight. The way they worked so well together. Here's hoping CJ keeps getting stronger and makes this budding rivalry even more interesting.
