So what should happen to all the people refusing to show up after receiving a confessional subpoena? I think if they started imposing a $2500 a day fine leek they could do it might stop some of this nonsense. Who do these folks think they are to just blow off a subpoena?

According to military hero guy that was on the call lots of stuff was left off the transcript of the call, like any mention of Biden. Tell me why all the people around Trump panicked and tried to hide the call in the coded server if they didn't think there was anything wrong with it. I would say many of them would not be able to claim executive privilege when what they know was not from conversations with Trump.

I couldn't think of his name at the time. Vindman said in his testimony the transcript had things left out that were said on the call. Normally the Presidents phone calls to foreign leaders don't get leaked to the press the way his were by those who had access to them. He acted in normal ways until normal ways didn't work. There is nothing requiring him to do things in "normal" ways.
This call got the attention of others who were on the call and they decided it should be put away because they knew it was not good for Trump. They didn't do the same with all of his calls.
