All West all KC Metro Class 4 Final

Yeah, but I'm actually correct, unlike Nwalls.

You mean, sometimes you're correct.

raw

STAMP IT.

How about ZIP IT rather than STAMP IT on this petty East vs West back and forth bickering.

There are good teams on both sides of the state...the arguments have become tiresome and annoying.

Good Luck to all the teams in the Show Me Bowl...enjoy every minute of the experience.
West side public schools are at another level class 4 and down. East side can only compete with private schools .

I would say Harrisonville is just outside the Metro...but the KC media always puts in them in the "metro rankings." Viewership area, I suppose.

Seems we are only considered in the Metro by the media when the playoffs roll around and we are one of the few still alive.

No..810Varsity and PrepsKC always include Harrisonville. don't get too cocky just because you beat Webb. The team you are about to play beat them in the big show. Hope H plays as big as their ego. they should be unstoppable.

Not being cocky. Talking about the days back when we were winning Class 3 titles it was the same way. Media never covered us much until the end of the season when metro schools were eliminated from the playoffs. JNreturns you are trying to create your on bulletin board material conjured up in your own mind. SMH

I remember the game at Harrisonville where Webb beat them to end their streak. There were news helicopters flying in from KC full of sports reporters

I guess they ain't used to seeing real football teams in KC

No, KC has helicopters flying all over the metro every Friday night going to a dozen or more games.

I guess rural folk ain't used to seeing modern technology.

I guess there just weren't any good teams playing in KC that year they could cover
I ... will ... write ... this ... slowly ... so ... you ... can ... keep ... up.

Are you ready?
  • The media was also at other games.
  • The world has more than one helicopter.
  • This happens every week, not just when Webb City blesses us heathens with its presence.
Understand?

Will JNReturns run off & hide like NWalls did once Harrisonville beats the purpleheads this weekend?

Why would I run off? Yes, I think Kearney is a better team and should win by 14. But K is by no means invincible. Webb outgained H by a 100 yards and had 19 first downs to H's 9. But a pick six and a couple bad D plays got H the upset win. Easily could happen to K as well. Hell, they've been giving up 85 yards a game in penalties.

It would be a good win for H.

So they fly sports guys to Harrisonville every Friday night to cover the Wildcats??? That's pretty cool, I would have never a thunk it

Bad D plays? Or great offensive execution by the Wildcats. It's all in how you choose to view it. Both Kearney and Harrisonville have earned their way to tomorrow night's championship game inspite of your opinion. Both are riding high heading into the game. It should be a great ball game. Both fan bases wouldn't expect anything less.

KC only claims Hville out of convenience. For example Salemaea is not even a finalist for the Fontana (sp) award. And he is easily a top two player in class 4. Hell they put a kid from Odessa on the finalist list, and Morgan is by far the best player in the MRVC.

Maybe in the MRVC West. He's not far and away better than Trevon Alexander from Richmond. Different players, but Alexander had like 36 total TD's. RB, WR, Wildcat QB, FS, KR, PR... Complete player all around. At least 5 defensive TD's. 2 or 3 punt returns for TD's.

Ross from Staley has 6 D1 offers right now. Morgan has?

Morgan's TD in the 2Q was off tackle...he made a great move and three WC players wiffed on tackling him.

They whiffed on tackling him becsuse he stiff armed at least two of them to the ground.

As far as D1 offers being the determining factor to who wins a football game, I've seen many high school games where those with the offers went home, while those without moved on. Case in point, last Saturday in Hville......

i cant spell. Stamp it. but you get my point. Lots of people were happy when the Webbies lost. Even more will be happy if the Kearney loses.

Don't be selling this RB as being that great. He is an MVP all around player of the game for sure. But K has faced at least three RBs that are better...

All I've pointed out is that there were more to those whiffed tackles you referenced, than just poor tackling. Similarly, the fact that he ran around, over and through a defense last week that had multiple D1 level recruits playing on it, at least from my humble perspective, was pretty impressive.

Kearney is a very, very good team and I'm fully aware of how talented the Ross kid is but although Morgan may not have the recruiting pedigree of Ross, it's pretty short sighted to not realize he's a very talented rb in his own right.

Looking forward to a good game between two good teams and programs. About time to make the drive to Springfield.
