All the Liberals on this Board

With the way the Mueller thing has turned out, the baby slaughterers leading the charge, and the absurd green team, they are probably trying to find a point they are in agreement with the Dems on. I maintain that the left is coming out of the closet and most reasonable old style Democrats have no home. If they hadn't spent the last two years trashing Trump on style issues, they could realize he's where they have been traditionally.

Border security
Strong on trade
Low unemployment
Less military action
Rebuild infrastructure
Energy independence

Those and many more are not things a traditional Democrat would resist but they have bought into the Bernie just enough, watch the CNN drumbeat of unfounded accusations, and hate the Trump persona (as we do too) enough to be distraught but not wavered from believing there is hope for their beloved party. My family was always a vote for the man not the party family but the men and issues they took positions on have forced us to rarely vote for a Dem any more (less every election).

Show me the infrastructure deal you speak of. Trump is too busy stealing money from the military, disaster victims and anywhere else he can find a few billion to spend on his wall.

Trump ran on infrastructure spending. Not his fault Congress (like you and people like you) go out of their way to work against him.

If you'd stop the "never Trump" hate and actually look at his policies objectively, you'd probably like them.

Miller hit the nail on the head, Trump is essentially a Democrat from 30 years ago policy wise, which is a testament to how far the Democratic party has moved to the left.

Trump isn’t stealing money from the military. The Pentagon has a lot of money budgeted by Congress for drug interdiction activities and Trump can spend every penny of it building a wall to keep drugs out of our country if he so chooses.

Have retreated to their safe spaces.
This “liberal” hasn’t retreated to a safe place, as you claim/hope. Just tired of same old ridiculous arguments from some of you guys. When people won’t look at facts and reality, but argue endlessly, it’s foolish to “debate” them.

The irony in that last statement is lost on you apparently.

Odd that you would want the hundreds of billions spent on infrastructure but claim 5 billion for a wall isn't affordable.
If you guys weren't dug in so deep on border security, Trump would already be pushing the infrastructure plan. I hate the opposition to the wall but love that it is preventing the infrastructure spending.
I assume your comment about infrastructure means you'd be a Trumper if he pushed infrastructure.

I said nothing like that but would most certainly rather see a bunch of money spent on something will actually do some good. If we don't get to work on it will just keep getting more expensive and it will HAVE to be done at some point. I ain't just talking about roads and bridges, which we do need to fix badly, I'm talking about water and sewer lines that are older than the road systems and our electrical grid that is so out of date.

He is talking about taking money from the military that was appropriated for building projects FOR the military, not for a fence on the border. He also says he will take disaster relief money, I'm sure the folks ravaged by a hurricane and those burnt out by the huge fires are glad to hear that.

You do realize Trump ran on fixing the infrastructure right? You should, I linked it.

Unless it's not about facts and reality and you just want to ignorantly hate Trump because CNN tells you to.

I know he ran on it, when has even mentioned it since the campaign. He has McConnell in his back pocket, why hasn't he got him to bring up a bill for infrastructure? Whys hasn't ANY pub brought up an infrastructure bill? Because they don't want it and McConnell said it was NOT a priority for them. Trump also ran on repeal and replace Obamacare but even with HIS total control of congress they couldn't come up the votes and really never had a plan to do it even though they had YEARS to come up with one.

You realize Trump doesn't control what goes on in Congress right? They literally exist to check each other's power. He can make suggestions, but it's not HIS fault if Congress decides to remain inactive.

If a president wants something to become a bill it usually happens. Tell me how we can have a president that his party has supported at every turn, some of them not so brilliant, yet they won't bring a bill to the floor for one of his big campaign promises? I guess it was just about making promises to get the blue collar vote, not about really wanting it happen. I haven't even seen him tweet about it since the campaign so it surely can't be very important.

It's already been established that you dont pay much attention and are hopelessly uninformed (thanks CNN).

That's from 2018...you know 2 years after his campaign. I'm trying to determine if:

A. You're just terribly uninformed.

B. You suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome and no amount of facts will dissuade you. Orange man bad!

C. You're just a troll.

D. You're so in the tank for the Democratic Party (which according to you doesnt even represent you at the national level) that you can't admit the people you're supporting have gone nuts over the last 20 years.

E. All of the above.

The Democrats are out of the closet. They used to pretend to be mainstream but are running to insanity as fast as they can.

Where is all that work taking place?

Considering that article is from November of 2018 and the pace at which government works, nowhere yet, but your claim that Trump isnt even pursuing infrastructure spending is dead wrong.

Not that you'll acknowledge or admit it. Go ahead and jump to your next CNN Trump bashing talking point.

I'll ask again, how do you guys that claim you never watch CNN know so much about what is said on that network? I'll also ask if you think Fox never has any stories or anyone on their network that is false, misleading or in all out support of Trump who lies to us multiple times a day about various subjects?

I know Fox is biased. The problem is you think CNN is unbiased.

The point also remains (to steer you back on topic) I've shown you over and over that Trump is trying to get infrastructure spending approved, do you believe it yet or do I need to keep hitting you over the head with facts they won't tell you on CNN?

What he said.
On the sunday morning show, i've seen plenty of Trump bashing and Chris Wallace probes pretty hard. Carl Rove is a frequent commentator who is basically a never Trumper.
If you are referring to the nightly shows (hannity, tucker, ingraham) I rarely see ANY of them and they are NOT news shows and make no claims of impartiality. The same can't be said of any CNN show, they all claim to be unbiased.

If he wants it why hasn't his staunch defenders presented a bill in either house for a vote? He had the whole place to himself for two years and all he has to show for is appointments, not much in the way of legislation.

I've already explained that to you. He doesnt CONTROL Congress. They exist to balance power in government.

He has had the support of almost ALL fo the pubs in congress on damn near everything he has done, even when it's completely out of whack with what they would like to do. When Obama had congress in his favor for a couple of years you guys went nuts talking about what he should have been able to do. Why is it different now?

We've already gone over this as well. The Dems vote in lockstep, Republicans really don't. There is entire "never Trump" group in Congress who actively work against him when it's possible. Obama didn't have his own party working against him.

In what voting has this happened to Trump. It's happening over the emergency deal but not enough to withstand his veto.

I'm talking about voting in general, not just Trump's campaign projects.

I was when said Trump had both houses and didn't get much of his legislative agenda done in two years just like you folks said about Obama when he both houses. NONE of this discussion has been about voting in general.
This newly elected crew of liberals seem to be just like the Tea Party bunch a few years back. They intend to be a thorn in the side of the so-called establishment and hold some pretty radical idea just like the Tea Party folks did and still do.

Yep, couldn't name one.
You are NOT the teacher and I'm NOT your student that has to answer to you all the time. In fact I think I'll it take it back that the Tea Party came in as radicals. They wanted to bring down the budget deficit and national debt unlike the current president and republicans you are so proud of these days. But then again they don't even go by that name anymore, they are now the 'Freedom Caucus'. Exactly what is it they want freedom from?

You need a friend. Trying to carry the liberal agenda all by your lonesome is obviously wearing on you.

No you're not the student (you obviously dont want to learn anything) but when you make a statement on a public message board, be prepared to defend and/or explain it.
