Favorite annual rite of passage, the juvenile complaining of who got snubbed. But in this case, it isn’t a player or a coach about a player, it’s a coach upset he didn’t get coach of the year. Talk about ego and immaturity.
Cardinal Ritter coach tweeted something to the effect of his team got defensive player of the year and offensive. player of the year but he didn’t get coach of the year.
Might be one of the all-time dumbest tweets by a high school head coach I’ve ever seen.

well, If you have the offensive and defensive players of the year on your team, maybe , just maybe it didnt take the greatest of coaching to get the result you got? Just saying....
I hope someone tweets back at him to tell him that he got a different COY award. Cheater of the Year!

Crying about it is definitely not a good look. He should be happy he just won a state championship and his players won awards. My guess is he isn't very well liked/respected by his peers, is why he didn't win.
You get some strange results from these honors.

I respect success tremendously (especially state titles). But If you watched them play, I don't know that you would still think this.
I did hear from another coach about CR being a little disorganized with excellent athletes.
saw a tweet that he didn't even bother showing up for the selection meeting. Not sure if true or not
Agree with you completely. He is an absolute freak and put up ridiculous numbers.
