So much to learn!! How do you quote people from their post? Like the on the old system?
I, too, took the summer off! It is nice to get away and recharge the batteries, you know? I don't know if i ever actually started coaching, but I am in the game!
Had a nervous moment and couldnt find my password... Scariest start to a new school year.
Stefan!! There you are! Yes, recharging ones batteries is needed every now and then! How are all your Ampipe buddies doing? Tank, Rifleman, and such? I am surprised with all the coaching vacancies around the state that you didn't apply to any.
I actually did apply... for several. I went into each and every interview with my 9 iron. And at some point in the interview every school asked, "Whats up with the 9 iron?" I told them about Nickerson and how he was a great coach and how he always carried his 9 iron to practice. Usually the questions stopped there and i was thanked for coming in.
Oh well. None of the towns had Steel Mills, so I really questioned how tough those boys would be anyway.
Sounds like you should have left the 9 iron at home and brought it to practice when you got the job! I would love to see you grab a head spot some where. Then fill your staff with your old Ampipe buddies! If that was a class 4 team I'd say, watch out Webb! Speaking of Nickerson, wasn't he returning to coaching?
