Acquitted

Yes, it's equally the same scenario. So similar. Great point.
I wasn’t talking about the charged crime ... I was referring to the outcome. Yikes!! Please don’t put words into my mouth or posts.

Forever Impeached
  • Third President to be impeached in the House and acquitted in the Senate.
  • Democrat Managers Wrong.
  • They didn't have overwhelming evidence that Trump wanted to cheat the 2020 election or jeopardize NS.
  • He did not cover up the investigation.
  • As the trial progressed a number of Republicans agreed the President had done some things wrong, but they believed that the accusations brought from the house to floor had not been proved at the trial.
  • Now if Bolton comes to the house and makes Republicans look bad that's still on the table. We will see if this materializes.
  • The Senate is not prohibited from calling witnesses but they aren't obligated to call them either.
  • The Rep. has the majority in the Senate, and this is why the Democrat minority doesn't get to whine and complain because the majority makes the rules.

... and a spineless Senate, minus one, who took his oath to God and country seriously.
I think he is a nice man. He has his own conclusion. But he is wrong too. It's not Romney's job nor the Senate's job to adjudicate the 2020 election.
As for the media, it was like 5 minutes ago in 2012 that Romney was the worst person to ever run for President and now he's wonderrrfullll.
I don't think Rom cares either way.

Yes, we can. When a bit over half is scared to pass gas without DJT permission, it is pretty useless.
Rubio is not scared. But he knows the role of the senate. He knows the election is 9 mos away. He's scared of the radical Democrat Socialists.

I agree he is a good man. Although I didn’t vote for him, I could have lived with him as our president.
I suspect some Republicans have the same feelings today, but in reverse of what you stated in your post.

They tried running a nice guy like Romney. Then the DNC media got him. Then we got Trump.

Maybe if Schiff had released some of that more than circumstantial evidence that he lied multiple times about then Trump would have been convicted.
The Dems gambled and lost. Now they have live in the house they made.

Romney was bad when he voted for Kavanaugh. I needed my barf bag listening to Democrats to praise Romney on TV. The great hero of the Republic. Romney will vote with Trump on 95% of issues. Trump wins. End of story.
Then there's the Whitehouse and magnanimity is not his thing. I like the SOTU Trump the best. He's always got to talk sheet.

Nice Try Obama. He didn't arrest any Fox reporters?
No minority party of Putin today? You're a ham and egg guy. Where's the egg Duck?

Lol, I hear Lizzie wants to make misinformation about how's she an Indian, got fired from teaching for being pregnant, lying about sending her kid to private school and being an outright Marxist illegal.

I like to deal in all the media except Non-Fox type media, but I turn on occasionally CNN MSNBC if I need to purge too much ice cream or desserts. It was a fake way before Trump who is fake called it fake.

Nice try, Nunes was right and he is on Fox all the time. Hannity, Tucker is a thousand times more truthful, honest and open to different opinions than all the non-Fox media put together. MSM is too chicken to interview different opinions.

17 of them actually.

Dems said they made their case and the evidence was overwhelming. Why the need for more?

Nice spin but there were no witnesses at TRIAL!! First Reps cried about second hand testimony in House hearings, then refuse to hear first hand testimony at trial. Equals cover up!!

Get off it!
In the House there were zero Pub witnesses! If they had been allowed by the Dems, there wouldn't even have been an impeachment fraud left to perpetrate.
Libs run the House and don't have to allow witnesses but the Pub MUST in the Senate????

I wouldn’t exactly say cry. More like laugh because that’s all Dems could muster up for their case.

I’ll give them kudos on Sondland though. He looked on paper as someone who could open the door for them. But think we all know how that turned out.

Then why did Trump fire him? He said under oath, "yes there was a quid pro quo."

And then no more then 5 minutes later he said under oath that he assumed/presumed it was a quid pro quo.

And that “no one on the planet” told him it was a quid pro quo.
He was told exactly what to do and he did it, and he knew what Rudy and others were doing too. It didn't have to be explained to him to KNOW what it was.
