The Yankees wish he would quit so they could
save millions. Is there any reason they can't ship him out
to class A ball and let him ride busses to the games all summer?

I'm thinking the dude would crack after a couple of months
and give it up.

That dude is all about himself and cash. No way he quits and walks away from that contract.
 
Yes But he couldn't reach any of his milestone homerun totals like passing Willie Mays which would earn him millions based on his contract incentives.
