A question for Dogfather

hope you might be able to provide some insight.

Watched a total of 11 games at MIzzou Arena this weekend. Through these games I saw several kids slip, slide and fall. The floor looked visibly dirty from where I sat. I asked one player after a breakaway why he didn't dunk it, and he told me the ball was dirty with no grip.

So my question, do they ever sweep the floor? I sat through 5 consecutive games and never saw this happen except in the paint.

All in all, a great weekend of basketball. Columbia really is a great venue with great food, stadiums, hotels and people.

I thought the same thing watching a few games at the Hearnes Center. Not sure if the DogPa can enlighten us on the topic. But if anyone can, I'm all ears...

Good question... and I wondered that myself... I personally have NOT witnessed the floor at either Hearnes or Miz-Zou
cleaned between halves or games. One would think with all the traffic and entertainment the floors would bet swept often as is the practice at most high school games we all attend...

It was indeed a very good and entertaining weekend of Missouri high school basketball...
I always enjoy the opportunity to see and visit with folks from all parts of the Show-Me state.

Congratulations to all Meadville, Scott Co Central, Barstow Boys and Walnut Grove, Crane, Park Hills Central Girls, the new state champs.

The South Harrison Drumline half time was awesome.

Sorry we had to witness a display of classless sportsmanship from a certain StLouis coach...!

Class 1-2-3 is in the books. We'll be back again this weekend for class 4 & 5... Hope to see you there...!

Is this the floor sweeper? Kids who played on it disagree.
