Couple of games no one talking about.. Pleasant Hill beats #1 seed Hogan Prep 36-18 and KC Center just makes it past Odessa 28-25.

Hogan was 9-0 but every school in the district, except Southeast, would have gone 9-0 against that schedule. Phill wins 3 ganees but played a man's schedule.

Chili - Maryville should be great. Getting them out of Maryville is worth 10 points by itselff/

What you saying the "Hound Pound" worth 10 points? Their streak is up to 50 some games now. lol

Think the Chilli-Maryville game going be alot closer then the 1st matchup. 5 weeks ago I would of said Maryville had no chance. But they have improved. They have made some adjustments on offense to better fit their talent. Maryville's biggest play maker didn't start till week 7. (Not sure if he was injured or other reasons)

As others have stated, Hogan Prep played a very weak schedule. Even at 10-0, CalPreps only had them winning by 3. Also, Center hasn't lived up to the hype all season but they'll likely still beat Pleasant Hill by a TD.

Coaching another major factor (I actually had a thread title about this district last night but it got buried under others) once the playoffs commence. I don't think you can find another league with better HCs than the MRVC West top to bottom.

They actually did have one nice win over Miller Career Academy BUT none vs. anyone this side of the state. As much as this result tells me about Hogan Prep it also ratifies one of my biggest mysteries of 2017: the decline and fall of Oak Grove. Were they decimated by key injuries???? Unimaginable considering the quality of HC the Panthers have.

It's actually 52 home games now.......lol As far as the biggest playmaker you referred to, he had first decided not to play this year and when he decided to play, he did not have enough practice hours to play until week seven.

Saw Oak Grove four times this year. Lack of jims and joes.
