Congrats to everyone on another great season of girls basketball as we decide conference champions and district seedings the next couple of weeks. We are very excited to begin taking registrations for the 9th Annual Sonic Freedom Shootout on June 5th and 6th in Bolivar, Mo(Just 20 miles north of Springfield). It is always our goal to offer the most affordable shootout in the state, while also being the most competitive. While most shootouts continue to raise their rates ours are staying the same again this year along with every player receiving a shootout t-shirt. We have been very blessed to have many District and State Champions that have attended our shootout the last eight years. Below you will find some information pertaining to the shootout, including an attachment with motel information. I would advise you to call early if you want to stay in Bolivar. The Bolivar motels will go quickly! Please forward this information to your Junior Varsity and Junior High Coaches as well. Please let us know if you have any questions and feel free to share this information with any fellow coaches. We encourage you to reserve your spot early as we anticipate filling up quickly. Divisions: Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Junior High
(Small Competitive & Large Competitive)
When: June 5th and 6th (Begin around 11:00 on Friday and 8:20 on Saturday)
Where:[/B] Bolivar Schools & The Complex(Great facilities with air conditioning)
Cost: [/B]$200 per team(Multi-team discounts will be given)
( Each player will receive a shootout t-shirt)
Games: Guaranteed 6 to 10 games
Format: Pool Play on Friday/ Bracket Play on Saturday(Very Competitive)
Officials: Registered/Licensed Officials already Hired(SWMBOA)
Registration Deadline: May 1st ( You will have the schedule by May 10th)
Lodging: Motel information is attached.
Hospitality Room: All coaches and officials will enjoy a fabulous hospitality room.
