Will North Andrew and Stanberry continue their dominance? They have faced each other in 3 straight championship games and the last time that either one has lost to someone else was:

Stanberry - 10/12/12 - Worth County 26-10
North Andrew - 10/14/11 - St. Joseph Christian 68-30

In fact, North Andrew's coach (Schoonover) is 36-1 since coming to North Andrew with the only loss being against Stanberry in the 2012 State championship game. They have won 25 straight.

Opening games for them are:
North Andrew - at St. Joseph Christian
Stanberry - at North(west) Nodaway

I think Greenfield should have some more kids this year, should have some success. McAuley also announced they are playing 8 man also. They usually have a pretty good passing game.

MaxPreps shows McAuley playing an 11-man schedule this year:

I am not seeing a schedule for McAuley on their website or MSHSAA

Website: http://mcauleysports.com/football/varsity/schedule?season=2015/2016
MSHSAA: https://www.mshsaa.org/Schools/Navigation.aspx?s=568 (still shows 11-man, but no games)

McAuley has announced they will play 8-man, not 11-man football this year. SRVC teams are now looking for replacement games. @scoreboardguy

I saw it on Twitter. Didn't did much deeper.

Thanks. Was wondering why there was no schedule on MSHSAA or their website. At the end of the article, it says that neither Greenfield or McAuley are eligible for postseason, but Greenfield played postseason last year. They were just automatic last seed. I would think that they both would be eligible if they played the minimum 5 games.

I wonder if more teams from SWMO will make the move to 8-man because of reduced rosters. Appleton City is playing a partial 8-man schedule this year. It would be difficult for McAuley to schedule other Missouri teams, but at least they can play Oklahoma and Kansas schools.

That article is not correct. Greenfield is elgible for postseason play. Not sure where they got that from. They played in the postseason last year.

McAuley is going 8 Man this year but since it's in the middle of the cycle they have scheduled some games as best they can. It's my understanding that they have 6 games scheduled already. They cannot play obviously for a championship. Next year they will go full on 8 Man.

8-man fans should once again mark calendars for North Andrew vs. Falls City (NE) Sacred Heart. The 2015 edition of this budding interstate rivalry occurs Friday August 29. Without a doubt the Cards are again favorites to win this class in MO..................

They should be eligible as long as they play 5 8-man games.
