Coverage here for those who did not purchase the MSHSAA championship package/not attending this game begins at 6:45 PM tonight!

Here are some tidbits entering our first title game of the weekend:

North Andrew topped LeBlond 64-36 way back in Week 2.

The Cardinals are among the most storied programs in MO 8-man history which officially began as a MSHSAA championship event in 1988 with an amazing 13 total appearances resulting in FIVE Championships (1996-97-2013-14-16) and a single tie in 1993.

This is the Eagles' first ever appearance since exiting 11-man for this level in 2019. They are seeking to become the second St. Joseph school to win the title which was last attained by Christian in 2010.

See you all at 6:45! Here we go!

6 championships. Tied for the title in 1993 with South Holt.
14th championship appearance, going for title 7. Mound City has 8 championships (10 appearances) and Worth County has 7 championships (11 appearances)

I don't count ties, sorry. I went back one by one counting all the brackets. Those are the "big three" indeed with Stanberry making a strong case for #4.

It’s 14 appearances since 1988. I agree toes are dumb but they count here. Take it up with MSHSAA.

Underway. LeBlond on offense first. A bit confusing trying to get used to the yard lines overlapping the marked ones on the field. Face mask negates a very nice opening pass play.

LeBlond 3 and out QB getting it out there one was out of bounds the other an easy drop. Part of that is NA's athleticism on D especially this Ecker kid (24).
