Advance defeated Perryville 25-18, 25-14 in the Gold Bracket championship game to win the tournament. The Hornets went 2-0-1 in pool play and then won three consecutive games in the gold bracket tournament. In pool play, Advance split Jackson (17-25, 25-16) and beat Clearwater (25-9, 25-20) and North County (25-10, 25-17).

Advance looked very tough Saturday. The 6ft middle they have just tore teams up. I think she might be a freshman but not sure. I was looking forward to the Lesterville/Advance semis after they drilled Saxony the first game. Didn't work out that way. I think it will be Advance advancing to state this year over the other teams in the SEMO sectional.
